Abstract

The LULC change detection and planning indicators pilot application provides the users access to the LULC information of the Loures Municipality (a Portuguese municipality near Lisbon) and its characterization using dynamic spatial planning indicators.
Structure
The module consists of two parts as follows:
  • Introduction to the Portuguese pilot (aims, datasets used, ...);
  • Brief explanation of the web platform.
Learning outcomes

The aim of the module is to allow the user, to easily select the study area and the dataset, followed by the capability to build a thematic map with the values contained in the attribute table of the final dataset. The user can easily find the best way to construct a map with all the relevant statistic information associated.
Intended Audience

Municipalities, Public Authorities (Central Administration: APA, ICNF, DTG (formerly IGP and DGOTDU), CCDR Algarve, CCDR LVT, CCDR Centro, Loures Municipality) and citizens.
